Sexual Violence & Sexual Harassment

RESOURCES AND SUPPORT FOR TRINITY COLLEGE STAFF & FACULTY

Â鶹ƵµÀ is committed to providing a safe, welcoming and healthy campus Â鶹ƵµÀ in which all members are treated with respect and dignity. Sexual violence or sexual harassment will not be tolerated. As a federated College within the University of Toronto system, Â鶹ƵµÀ adopted the University of Toronto Policy on Sexual Violence and Sexual HarassmentÌý(view the ), which came into effect in January 2017.

If you have experienced sexual violence or sexual harassment, the is your first point of contact.ÌýThe Centre was created to prevent and respond to sexual violence across all three campuses and provides support to members of the University Â鶹ƵµÀ who have been affected by sexual violence or sexual harassment. The Centre offers support for those who disclose an incident, whether or not they choose to report it, and referrals to on- and off-campus services, among other services.

  • The Centre assists students, staff and faculty members in understanding the University’s Policy on Sexual Violence and Sexual Harassment.
  • The Centre facilitates access to support, services and accommodations for students, staff and faculty members who have experienced sexual violence.
  • The Centre provides training and education on preventing and responding to sexual violence.

ADDITIONAL SERVICES AND SUPPORT

Sexual Violence Education and Prevention Training

The College is also committed to making available programs and resources to educate its Â鶹ƵµÀ on the prevention of and response to sexual violence and harassment. . The online module is designed to help members recognize sexual violence and harassment, understand the difference between disclosing and reporting, learn more about the role of the tri-campus Sexual Violence Prevention & Support Centre, and respond supportively to a disclosure of sexual violence.

The interactive online training takes approximately 40 minutes to complete. As a member of the Trinity Â鶹ƵµÀ, you are expected to complete the U of T Sexual Violence Education and Prevention Training Module. Once you have completed the module, please send an email to hr@trinity.utoronto.ca with the following information:
