Reports to: Course Instructor, TRN250Y1Y; The Dean of Arts at Â鶹ƵµÀ.
Compensation: $53.44 (plus 4% vacation & subject to statutory deductions). Approximately, 218 hours.

Position Summary: Â鶹ƵµÀ is looking to fill the position TRN250Y1Y: Empire, Nationalism, and the History of International Relations.
Note: This is one of two TA positions for TRN250Y1Y.
TRN250Y1Y is a required 2nd year course in the International Relations Program.
About the course:
Duties: The TA will be required to lead three weekly tutorials, attend weekly lectures, hold office hours (1 hour per week), read assigned materials, invigilate a midterm and a final exam, grade all assignments (including essays and exams) for students in their tutorial sections, respond to student questions by email outside of scheduled office hours, work with the instructor and second TA to maintain a Quercus course page, and assist with other duties as determined by the course instructor and program director.
Qualifications: Current doctoral students who have completed at least one year of their program. Likely programs of study could include Political Science, History, Global Affairs, Public Policy.
Â鶹ƵµÀ should have strong academic teaching ability, excellent presentation and interpersonal skills, and must be able to work in a collegial manner with the course instructor.
